Cursillo Palanca 2008

While
every Friday is Palanca Day worldwide, for 2008 could you please make
a special effort to do some special extra Palanca in Cairns Diocese
on the 1st Friday of each month. Some suggestions include
– Reconciliation at least once a month, attend Mass &
Communion on the first Friday of each month, participate in Perpetual
Adoration or make a one hour visit to the Blessed Sacrament in your
local Parish church or Adoration Chapel – and even ask your
local Parish Priest if they could allow exposition of the Blessed
Sacrament and Benediction for one or a couple of hours where a group
of Cursillistas could gather as a Cursillo family. If possible, even
to end with Benediction.
For those in Cairns – the Perpetual
Adoration Chapel at St Francis Xavier Church is always available. And
in Gordonvale – a Cursillista has organised first Friday
Adoration for many years.

It is hoped to have at least 1 Cairns Cursillista
not
attending weekend doing Palanca during each
of the following time
slots. Please register ASAP
and assist all Cursillistas not using
internet to register.
For privacy reasons – only First Name
plus surname initial
will be used and the parish they are from
will be added.
